Jungwoo Lee

Lee Jungwoo (b1981) is a South Korean artist based in Seoul. He studied stage design and worked as a film pre-production designer from 2003 to 2009. In 2010, he moved to Germany and earned his Diplom and Meisterschüler degrees from the Hochschule für Bildende Kunst Braunschweig (HBK). His solo exhibitions include Art Sonje (Seoul/2017) and MMCA Changdong (Seoul/2023). Lee has also participated in group exhibitions at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA/Seoul), Nam June Paik Art Center (Yongin), SongEun Art Center (Seoul), Seoul Museum of Art (Seoul), among others.
