Gyuchul Moon’s works at the intersection of science, music, and media art. In his projects, he creates sounds that are interconnected with both human and non-human beings, as well as natural and artificial elements, realized through modern technologies. At the core of his work is the tension between equilibrium and instability — the non-linear dynamics of nature — and the exploration of how these can be translated into musical expressions.

His work goes beyond traditional classifications. He develops new musical forms that combine music with alternative technological perspectives and an expanded understanding of materials. In this process, he incorporates AI, self-regulation, and self-organizing principles. In his compositions, which draw from natural processes and systems, he explores the potential to compose audio material organically.

Gyuchul Moon’s transcends traditional boundaries, developing new musical forms that merge music with alternative technological perspectives and a broader understanding of materials. He incorporates AI, self-regulation, and self-organizing principles, and in his compositions—rooted in natural processes and systems—he explores the potential to compose audio material organically.
