As part of its Open Studios, Künstlerhaus Bethanien regularly opens its doors to the public, offering a special opportunity to gain insight into the studios of its international resident artists. Visitors are invited to meet the artists in their workspaces, engage in conversation, and explore their artistic practices and processes.
For the artists, our studios serve as creative laboratories where current projects are presented, working approaches discussed, and ideas further developed. In contrast to the exhibitions on the ground floor—where completed works and projects are typically on display—Open Studios places the focus on the artistic process. What is shown is a work at a specific moment in its development: unfinished, open-ended, and in flux.
We look forward to welcoming you!
