Workshop by Om Bori
In this workshop, led by Om Bori, participants are invited to explore their personal memories and experiences related to the Landwehr Canal through art. Participants start by placing items such as memories, texts, plants, found objects and personal belongings in a vessel filled with water from the canal. This physically and symbolically connects personal experiences to the water.
Participants will learn Om Bori’s technique of creating water-filled objects and will then create their own works. Through writing, drawing and reflection, individual experiences are translated into fragmented texts and images. These fragments are then brought together to form a visual and material composition. The water acts as a living memory, carrying personal and collective memories. Each participant then creates their own sealed memory capsule from the water created together. Personal mementos relating to the Landwehr Canal can be brought along.

Participation: Anyone with a connection to the Landwehr Canal is welcome to attend and no prior knowledge is required.
