In her practice, which ranges from painting and site-specific installations to public art interventions, Prajakta Potnis effortlessly weaves together the complexities of emotions and the reality of today\u2019s society. Her work oscillates between the intimate world of the individual and the world outside \u2013 two spheres which are sometimes separated only by a wall. In her recent work she frames the wall as a witness of history that records traces of inhabitance \u2013 a membrane through which imperceptible elements intrude into the private sphere and affect the individual\u2019s psyche.
