{"id":22936,"date":"2017-12-14T10:51:38","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T10:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zen-morse.176-96-136-90.plesk.page\/en\/?post_type=kb_artist&#038;p=22936"},"modified":"2017-12-14T10:51:47","modified_gmt":"2017-12-14T10:51:47","slug":"renzo-martens","status":"publish","type":"kb_artist","link":"https:\/\/bethanien.de\/en\/artists\/renzo-martens\/","title":{"rendered":"Renzo Martens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute for Human Activities (IHA) is a research project, initiated by a Dutch artist Renzo Martens and developed at the KASK \u2013 School of Arts in Ghent.\u00a0IHA\u2019s goal is to prove that artistic critique on economic inequality can redress\u00a0it \u2013 not symbolically, but in material terms.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2014 the IHA has collaborated with the\u00a0Cercle d\u2019Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise\u00a0(CATPC). Together they set up theLusanga International Research Centre for Art and Economic Inequality(LIRCAEI).<\/p>\n<p>Through exhibitions, presentations and the\u00a0instigation of critical reflection, the IHA is reaching out beyond the Research Centre in Congo.
