Ze Wei\u2019s art projects derive from her obsession with historical recontextualization, experimental history and their corelation to actuality. Working on her projects with various medias and theoretical research, Wei aims to develop her conception of\u00a0 problematic issues which is triggered by the global status quo. Each of her projects revolves around the concept of \u201cNational Territory \/ Boundary”, such as globalization, exil, diaspora and etc.<\/p>\n

At the moment, Wei is devoted to two projects. Ani leads Wei to the creation of images as the reflection on the history interpretation that impact on the cultural identity of Armenian and Turkish diaspora community. In Biography of Ho Xuan Huong, the 18th century Vietnamese poet inspired Wei\u2019s works by her female consciousness Chu Nom poems.
