Sara R\u00f6nnb\u00e4ck (b.1988) holds a MFA from National Academy of Fine Art Oslo (2015). She works with sculpture and installation where the relationship between time, body and space is central. She works with a choreographic approach to the room surrounding her, and how that affects her as well as how she affects it. Her choice of materials are a way of lifting up and showing care for what surrounds her, the importance the materials have, have had and can have; personal, cultural and physical. She is interested in the relationship between subject and object, culture and nature, hard and soft and how our perspective can shift our understanding.<\/p>\n
Previous exhibitions include NoPlace in Oslo, Cosmoscow in Moscow, R\u00f6hsska in Gothenburg, Kurant in Troms\u00f8 and Galerie im K\u00f6rnerpark, Berlin. Since 2015, together with Daniel Sl\u00e5ttnes, she has worked with the project Conversation between Bodies<\/em>, which has been shown in various formats at, among others, BOA, Atelier Nord and RAM Galleri in Oslo, Kunstmuseet in Nord-Tr\u00f8nderlag, Aldea in Bergen, Rackstadmuseet, Arvika and Oppland Kunstsenter, Lillehammer.
