Fran\u00e7ois Lemieux is an artist whose activities combine publishing and research in the form of installations, documents and situations that aim to prompt collective reflection on the notions of value, use and commonality.<\/p>\n

Current projects include: D\u00e9soeuvrer la Valeur \/ Derivative Value<\/em>, curated with Erik Bordeleau, Marilou Lemmens & Bernard Schutze at VOX\u2014Centre de l\u2019image contemporaine, Montr\u00e9al (2022); Going to, Making do, Passing Just the Same<\/em>, with Edith Brunette at Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery, Montr\u00e9al (2021) \/ Biennale nationale de sculpture contemporaine, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (2022) \/ Espace Mach, Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke (2022); Variations autour d\u2019un Patio<\/em>, curated by Pavel Pavlov at Le Patio, Aylmer (2021); Primary attempts and related materials<\/em> at Sapporo Tenjinyama Art Studio, Sapporo (2019). Recent publications include: Le Merle vol.\u00a06, no. 1, At the Edges of Empire: Measures of Peter Sloterdijk<\/em>, with Erik Bordeleau and Dalie Giroux [ online: lemerle.xyz ] (2021); and the book Going to, Making do, Passing Just the Same<\/em>, edited with Edith Brunette and published by the Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery, Concordia University Press, Montr\u00e9al (2021).<\/p>\n
