He graduated from the \u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure d\u2019art et de design de Reims (\u00c9SAD) and won the Prize for Young Contemporary Creation at the Mulhouse 019 biennial.<\/p>\n<p>His work revolves around the notion of montage and uses various mediums including sculpture, installation, film, music, performance, drawing and writing. This multidisciplinary approach allows him to create analogies and to play with associations of ideas that point to the deficiencies and absurdities of contemporary everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>Solo exhibitions include <em>Degr\u00e9s Est: Thomas Schmahl<\/em> at Frac Lorraine, Metz (2020), <em>Les positions vuln\u00e9rables<\/em> at Domaine de Kergu\u00e9hennec (2021), <em>Je vais et je viens<\/em> at Motoco, Mulhouse (2021) and <em>Gestes simples<\/em> at Cycle Up, Paris (2022). His work has also been exhibited in group shows such as <em>Vid\u00e9o Club<\/em> at Frac Champagne-Ardennes, Reims (2020) and <em>Les nourritures cri\u00e9es<\/em> at Zoo Galerie, Nantes (2020). <\/p>\n<p>He has also presented musical performances at Frac Lorraine (2020), in La Chapelle Saint-Jean (2021), Fondation d\u2019entreprise Ricard, Paris (2022) and Quadrilat\u00e8re, Beauvais (2022).
