In his drawings, paintings and photographs, Sascha Abel (*1984 in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia; lives and works in Berlin) explores the question of how images of memory change over the course of time. Of particular interest to him are the memories of certain biographical places and spaces from childhood. He draws on the iconography of objective representations of space and superimposes them beyond recognition.
