{"id":641,"date":"2012-06-20T13:59:30","date_gmt":"2012-06-20T13:59:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bethanien.domainfactory-kunde.de\/wordpress\/?post_type=kb_artist&#038;p=641"},"modified":"2012-12-05T12:51:05","modified_gmt":"2012-12-05T12:51:05","slug":"delphine-courtillot","status":"publish","type":"kb_artist","link":"https:\/\/bethanien.de\/en\/artists\/delphine-courtillot\/","title":{"rendered":"Delphine Courtillot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The choice of elements that constitute the setting of my paintings is most often guided by the desire to play on iconography inspired by both popular \u201cmystery\u201d codes of representation in cinematic history \u2013 that is, the visual conventions used to suggest the inexplicable and to arouse fear, as well as the use of mechanisms within the shot that are capable of creating suspense.<\/p>\n<p>By way of a certain form of fictionalisation, I employ the physical presence or reconstructions of sites belonging in one way or another to 20th century art history, as a means of reflecting on the evolution of the choices operated within this historical period that have given shape to the modern world, and which have done so from the beginnings of industrialisation up to the present day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categories":[],"class_list":["post-641","kb_artist","type-kb_artist","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"article_image":"","article_image_bu_de":"","article_image_bu_en":"","datum_suche":"2012-06-20 13:59:30"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 -
