Eileen Maxson is an interdisciplinary artist working at the points of intersection of video, performance, and installation. Her partly heavy-hearted and partly humorous works lament the vanishing borders between imagination and consumer coercion, between technology and true personality. Essentially, each of her works represents a failed exorcism of uninvited influences and too much information.
