I want to find a method to express people, houses and objects that have already accepted death or are being discarded, as close as possible to the truth, through painting. When I paint disappearing spaces or people, rather than trying to paint (represent) scenes of a specific time, I try to contain the process of thinking about why and how they disappeared. I focus on and express through the language of painting, the functions of the power of time, which squashes, melts and flows and invisible functions such as the power of social concept. This is as important as the visible landscape. To express such a process of vanishing by natural or artificial powers, I began using the method of repeatedly pushing, accidentally mixing and stacking paint on the picture-plane with a squeegee or knife.
