The Norwegian artist and curator Annette Kierulf is not only presenting an exhibition in Studio 227, but also a system of curating. As in the exhibition space “By the Way” in Bergen, of which she was co-founder, here it is also a question of the site-specificity of art works, of “connectivity” as the curator herself calls her aesthetic practice, which seeks local connections and thereby analyses local power structures. This exhibition, with works by Endre Aalrust, \u00d8yvind Farstad, Thomas Kilpper, Janne Lervik, Beathe R\u00f8nning, Arve R\u00f8d\/Stefan Schr\u00f6der, will convert her curating concept \u2013 for which Kierulf has already received a curator\u2019s fellowship from the Office of Contemporary Art Norway \u2013 into striking practice.<\/p>\n
