In her works the artist presents a new and surprising, very personal interpretation of the modern figure, which she realises using her artistic means of painting, photography and collage. She says that she is searching for a form &#8220;in which to realise artistically the multi-layered, isolated character of my figures\u2019 identities&#8221; and achieves this with an abstract-figurative expression that reveals the individual\u2019s isolation in an unusual way; among other things, by providing information about weights in the titles. One might talk of inner pictorial landscapes, which is confirmed by the artist\u2019s choice of titles, e.g. in the series <em>In the Display Window of My Self<\/em>.<br \/>\nFor the screening in K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien she has created an interwoven survey of her works and text fragments entitled <em>The Archaeology of Existence<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","categories":[],"class_list":["post-13461","kb_exhibition","type-kb_exhibition","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"article_image":13455,"article_image_bu_de":"121 Grams \"I relax while watching myself in my supercoloured TV-Show on my big big iPhone...\", 2013, aus der Reihe \"Im Schaufenster meines Selbst\".
