The presence of an exposure to strain can be seen and felt in all elements of Kox\u2019s work, often emphasised still more by the differing degrees of an object&#8217;s abnormality; this exposure forms the basis of the artistic work as a theorem inherent in the material.<br \/>\nIn her exhibition <em>Reassuring inertia<\/em> at K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien, everyday materials are depicted with unlikely deformations, allowing us to recognise traces of passing gestures.
