To her the image is an uncertain matter located between fact and fiction, language and body. By using personal archive material, staged photography as well as digitally and physically edited material together she is creating images that show contradictions, atmospheres with a combination of lightness and weight-familiar and unfamiliar.<br \/>\nWith <em>The Choreography of Uncertainty<\/em> Hannula creates a continuation to her previous series <em>The Structure of Uncertainty<\/em> that dealt with the uncertainty of observations, feelings and essences. In her current work she continues the theme of uncertainty but focuses on the idea of photography as writing. She experiences images as poems that give words to experiences in a surprising way that can&#8217;t be expressed in ordinary language.
