One characteristic feature of\u00a0<span>Palacios<\/span>&#8216; work, a result of his basic training in the natural sciences, is its reference to real conditions, to which he gives plastic, expressive forms.\u00a0<span>Palacios<\/span>&#8216; most recent works are concerned primarily with human memory and the objects which hold, preserve and transport it. People often connect their personal memories to objects which they carry around with them each day in order to &#8216;keep&#8217; the memory of an occurrence; these objects function not so much as concrete visualisations but as associations with a specific event. As such, they adopt a position of prominence in contrast to the actual event.
