Berlin-based artist Clemens Behr creates ephemeral artworks from found as well as everyday materials and inserts them as an irritation in uniform civic scenarios. These collisions in color and form are never finished, always ready to be reconfigured or even abandoned. Usually captured in still images, the film \u201cBarreiro\u201d shows two site-specific installations in the making, which are inserted as barbs into the desolate environment of a Lisbon neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>curated by<strong>\u00a0Robert Seidel<\/strong>\u00a0within the programme\u00a0<em>Phantom Horizons <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The on-going screening series <em>Phantom Horizons<\/em> presents digital as well as analogue works that question the paradigm of <em>linear perspective<\/em>, seeking a new kind of \u201c<em>status perspective<\/em>\u201d [<em>Bedeutungsperspektive<\/em>]. The latter was a development of ancient and medieval painting, in which the size of figures is determined by their hierarchical significance.
