Rooted in the journey of displacement, it delves into the significance of clothing as the last vestige of protection amidst the loss of home. The walls of an apartment, a city, a country fade into the background, leaving only one&#8217;s clothing as a protective shell. Within the fabric, personal histories endure, undergoing transformation through acts of cutting, resewing, mixing, and enriching with commentary. The fenceful nature is lost, textile leftovers are mixed with words, and they become an icon.
