Each year, the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program awards fellowships to around 20 international cultural practitioners. \u2028In the field of visual arts, the selection is made through nomination; applications are not possible. The next application deadline for other fields (Film, Literature, Music &amp; Sound) is expected in December 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.berliner-kuenstlerprogramm.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2192<\/a><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><b>Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec<\/b><\/div><div>offers a one-year residency in Berlin for artists working in digital arts, film and video art, and visual arts. \u2028The next open call is expected for March 2026. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.calq.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/aides\/studio-quebec-berlin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2192<\/a><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><b>Contemporary at Blue Star<\/b><\/div><div>runs three-month residencies for artists based in Bexar County, Texas. \u2028The open call for the 2026\u20132027 cycle will launch in winter 2025. <a href=\"https:\/\/contemporarysa.org\/berlin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2192<\/a><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><b>CoMuse Fellowship<\/b><\/div><div>The Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art award fellowships through the CoMuse project \u2013 The Collaborative Museum. The fellowship program is aimed at international artists, researchers, community representatives, and cultural practitioners.\u2028The application deadline for 2025 was November 15, 2024. Applications are currently closed. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smb.museum\/en\/museums-institutions\/museum-fuer-asiatische-kunst\/about-us\/fellowship-programme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2192<\/a><\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><b>Creative New Zealand<\/b><\/div><div>provides a one-year residency at K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien for a New Zealand visual artist with a strong national reputation.
