Publications

At Künstlerhaus Bethanien, publications have been an essential part of our history, showcasing over 50 years of artistic practice, international collaborations, and curatorial innovation. Since the early 1970s, we’ve produced a wide variety of publications in close collaboration with artists, art organizations, museums, and other institutions. These include theater scripts, artists’ books, monographs, records, CDs, limited editions, and beautifully illustrated exhibition catalogs. Our growing collection includes over 400 titles, many of which are connected to the vibrant International Studio Programme and the exhibition history of Künstlerhaus Bethanien.

One of the highlights is the Be Magazin, our annual yearbook, which provides an overview of the creative activities at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, featuring recent residents and their projects.
